It’s been a while and to be honest, given the current state of the world, I’m fining it hard to see the importance of football right now. However, if you can turn your thoughts toward Arsenal, things are looking up in a big way recently. Perhaps , as we can do nothing about the war raging, the diversion should be welcomed for the state of or mental health.

A good win and more importantly, a decent performance against Brentford has lifted the spirits and keeps us in contention for the top 4 trophy. Sadly Spurs and United also won, so the status quo is maintained. In this podcast we admire how the 3 sections of the team, Defence, Midfield and attack are functioning well as units, but the team play overall is still lagging behind.

The role of the much maligned Lacazette is considered and we discuss how we should not be doing anything as a fanbase, to make the job more difficult for Arteta of any of the players.

In this latest podcast we try to make sense of the uproar surrounding the very mild expectations Henry set for Arteta. It’s another mess dividing the social media fans, although I doubt very much that most fans could give a flying. We try to decide what reasonable expectations should be given the healthy position we are in ,in this moment. Also we have aa quick think about the upcoming game with Brentford.

The cost of reducing the wage bill has been about £130m in lost revenue from sales. The policy is madness. But the fans are buying into it. Go figure!
