Are Arsenal Out Of The Title Race?

After a surprising loss to Aston Villa at home, Arsenal suffered a major setback to its title chances but the #Gooners are still in the race as emphasized by both Blackburn George and Shotta in this edition of the #UncensoredArsenal podcast. In their analysis they identified team selection and tiredness in the 2nd half as the main factor behind the defeat. They conclude that if Arsenal remain perfect for the rest of the season there is a chance of edging Man City to the title.

  2. the season going all tits up, out of CL without as much as a whimper, and Arteta can spare me the we will learn from it, as he has learnt fuck all in the last 3 seasons, same problems with rotation and subs and far too fucking timid in the key games.

We’ll be hearing about how we will sign a new left back, CM and striker this summer and how that will fix all our woes no one will ask why Arteta’s big money signings Zinchenko, Vieira, Lokonga, Jesus and Havertz all need to be upgraded upon.

  3. well after Xhaka’s Bayer Leverksuen won the Bunesliga at the weekend I seen some of his haters say its a farmers league, well the farmers league has 2 teams in the CL semi finals, AFC have gone out to the runners up to leverkusen. Imagine what prime Bayern Munich would have done to this AFC team

Arteta has been financially backed like no Arsenal manager since Herbert Chapman in the 30’s, and he has pissed so much of it down the drain, so many of his signings have already been moved on already and its clear many more of them will likely be replaced in the first team in the summer. Here are probably Arteta’s biggest money signings (doing this from memory not a list so excuse me if I’m wrong), Rice, Partey, Jesus, Havertz, Ramsdale, Vieira, Zinchenko, Trossard, Lokonga, Jorginho so apart from Rice would any gooner say we don’t need upgrades as starters on all the rest of them, and that many of them aren’t even good enough to be on the bench. Arteta has wasted a massive amount of money on transfers and don’t get me started on the big contracts for players he barely gives any game time to at all, Nketiah, Nelson and ESR

  4. Raya hasn’t looked an upgrade on Ramsdale. He is obviously good with his feet but Aaron is the better shot stopper and better positionally as well.

it seems we have given up alot for the sake of distribution.

After buying 17 goalkeepers we still haven’t got a better keeper than Martinez.

Letting him go at a time when we could of got more money for Leno and reduced wages (which apparently was a massive club goal) is still hurting us now and has turned out to be a massive mistake on and off the field.

However Edu is apparently a special football director so there you have it.

As we said in his first season and many times since Mikel still hasn’t learnt the art of substitutions.

He seems to be a very good coach but has limitations as a manager.

  7. Wolves 0-2 Arsenal

Trossard and Odegaard with our goals, we are top of the league by a point, but with one game more played.

    5 Games to go,

    Chelsea(H)

    Spurs (A)

    Bournemouth (H)

    Man Utd (A)

    Everton (H)

we have to hope that the win tonight reignites the belief in the team, and that performances are re-energised as that is a tough run in.
