Might be paranoia but the PR from Man U is being seriously ramped up and Ferguson is getting involved for the first time in years. Ten Hag giving it large and Webb in charge….

Fergie getting involved with Utd, hope that is the sort of meddling that causes them problems like other legendary ex managers hanging around being too big a presence. We shall see.

So the third in a row non-televised (or at least non-televised in the UK) match, which is a slightly unusual situation for the league leaders, and certainly more than slightly irritating for those of us who either can’t get to the game, or even if we could, can’t access tickets.
Let’s hope we get an early goal and play with the freedom that was on show (but not on the TV) against Everton in the second half.

I was sorry to see Sgt Mike Horvath died. Tom was really great in Ryan, seems to have struggled a lot in life, giving and taking hell along the way.

The other day I watched our match on a Hong Kong stream and the game before that was Arabic. Although I could only understand the players names and the odd word the commentary was decidedly better than the pricks we have in this country.

I was quite impressed with the cherries in the second half against city but it might of been because city thought the game was over. Nevertheless they looked good when they attacked
I would imagine we would go with the false nine again which I don’t like but if Eddie is a doubt it’s probably the favoured option over Trossard wide and Martinelli in the middle of a standard front three.
The only other change I can see would be Zinchenko who may need a rest in the middle of these multiple games.
Our stability seems to back and goals are flowing although in reality we still seem to be lacking creatively.
Obviously we are all expecting goals but Bournemouth will try and make it difficult and so will the officials. It’s cold today and we all know we play better in the sun so today needs to be totally professional COYG.

If wasn’t going to be Rowe for Nelson to get the winner with Nketiah & Trossard out is what I was dreaming of. Most goals and assists for any sub this season in the PL. Magic as Mills said. What a composed banger!
Inspired by some of Saka’s recent finishes. they are smashing them in training atm. The ice man would’ve approved.
Thank you all for the great posts comments and podcasts. there’ll be more then a few looking forward to BKs review of this match.

What a fantastic feeling and what a difference Reiss made not just the goal and the assist but every time he got the ball.
I trying to ride on the happiness and adrenaline and forget the naivety of the manager and the team.
However poorly people may think we played I can honestly say in fifty years of watching football I have never seen so many penalty shouts in one game, ARSENAL or anyone else.
It is quite clear the PIGMOL are out to get us.

Have a look at number three again and watch Martin O after the corner, he does the Charlie George. Moments like that crack me up!
I liked the big bundle by the subs after the goal, looking forward to the bench cam. The pure joy of it all gives you the corner tear!
Ok tomorrow, Arsenal women take on Chelsea in the Conti Cup final. Its at the Nest. Its sold out. COYG!

I’ve seen a post which freeze frames 4 penalty shouts. This was my fear about the non-televised matches. But breath. We did it. Was Smith Rowe taken off because he’d done his minutes or because of another niggle? So pleased to see Nelson back though. And my goodness, listening to the commentary on Arsenal Player was there a moment when Odegaard wasn’t on the ball, driving and prompting? Looking forward to Birdy’s review, but hope also for some contributions from any who were at the game. Bring back Andy Nic maybe?

Quite unbelievable, a stirring comeback and testament to the spirit, and ability in the team. So much went against them today, bad start, injuries, VAR officials clearly continuing to punish the club for Arteta putting the boot in leading to an incompetent Manc clique ref losing his job ( and also, not reported so much, but must be mentioned, another NW ref, the head of VAR Neil Swarbrick leaving after the season is up)
But to finish the way they did, amazing, fully deserved, and a big FU to Bournemouth for their time wasting, which the onfield refs at least seemed to recognise.
What a team we have

the VAR today was John Brooks, the man who only a week or so ago got left out of match duty cos of his VAR blunder in ruling out a Brighton goal v Crystal Palace due to him drawing the offside lines from the wrong CP player, so why would anyone be surprised at his failures today.

we play sporting on Thursday in the EL, with Nketiah a doubt, Trossard a big doubt, and Jesus not yet ready to come back. Smith-Rowe is according to Arteta, not yet ready for 70 minutes, so we are limited in what we can do rotational wise in attack, Nelson thankfully now an option. Jorginho and Xhaka are options in midfield if we want to make changes to the starting guys today, and in defense we have the option of giving Kiwior his debut at CB, Holding could come in there too and we can bring in Tierney at left back. Will Turner get a run out in goal.

I reckon in reality , 3-4 more wins guarantees top 4 , at least in most seasons Eduardo. Not that they can be complacent of course, especially when you know we won’t get another VAR penalty decision this season, probably the ranks in sympathy with Lee Mason.
The VAR today was another who was incompetent or biased , the club really need their legal dept on the case.
But the Lee Mason thing will haunt us for a while, I noted a few stories coming out about grass roots refs being stabbed etc just after the hugely incompetent, or something else, Lee Mason was sacked, as if there were some connection.
