Good morning friends.
Macey
Nelson Debuchy ElNeny Holding AMN
Coquelin Jack
Theo Giroud Iwobi
Would be my best guess for the starting eleven.
Norwich City F.C. seem to be on a bit of a high, but perhaps they might play a changed team ,as their priority will be the league, and they played a big derby game against Ipswich on Sunday afternoon.
The Giroud /Wilshere combination that gave is this
will be doing their best to do similar. Its not like they don’t make a habit of it
The game isn’t on TV , so good luck finding a stream. We might all be on Arsenal Player though as streams are hard to come by this season.
Enjoy your day and enjoy the game.
I warned you.

Always been a fan of George’s micro-blogs and this one is no exception!!
Annoying that only Manure seem to get their dreadful games broadcast but hopefully that will encourage a decent crowd at the Emirates.
Hopefully also, a win will help with this momentum we just may have kicked started into life versus Everton although I can’t see Norwich axing their manager should it all go pear-shaped for them.
Enjoy the game!

Thursday Giroud scored a spectacular goal.
Sunday Arsène Wenger and the AOL (sorry ‘Bama – banned winky thing) pulled the plug on Ronald Koeman’s PL managerial stint.
Monday Giroud got recognition for being a scorer of great goals.
And twitter is peaceful.
This has been a great week to be an Arsenal supporter.
Arsenal owe Norrich a good licking but any win will do. COYG

Think main reason i want win tonight is so we can pencil in another game where we can play youngsters/ rest of squad.
I’ve loved that aspect of this season so far- the newness, the slightly less pressurised games in Europa than CL, the rest for main players- and hoping we can get at least another after tonight in this comp.
Youngsters, plus Debuchy, Iwobi, Holding, Coquelin, Wilshere, Elneny, Giroud Theo – gotta love it.
No idea what to expect from Norwich- did someone say they’ve won 9 on bounce!!?- as haven’t kept eye on championship this year.

I knew Utd got their FA cup games shown every time since dawn of creation but annoying as fuck if league cup games also are now.
Oh well, another reason, as if any needed, to hope they exit competition tonight

No Rich they should not exit…
we need all games for all players this season

“We were basically cheated out of the points, as we were at Stoke, that’s 6 points. SIX POINTS”
I suspect yours was one of only 2 blog/articles that pointed out the cheating. Thanks to you and also to Shotta, who pointed out that fins expresses the multi-bolux as being at such thorough levels, excellently. (Of course, others hereabouts make contributions which are worthy too).
Congrats OG12 on winning Best Goal (BBC pls ignore this. Oh… )
I didn’t know about Deeny’s comments. He’s set himself up for punditry with his comments, and will be able to join the ranks of Neville/Barton/Murphy, etc, who specialise in fooling a lot of the people a lot of the time. Well done y’all!
Murphy’s on the panel who decide what’s a dive! Aha, ha-ha. Ha ha ha haha. And what a splendid job the dive commission done on adjudicating Watford’s ‘penalty’.
Funny how BT plundits linked to Graham Poll & all 3 said it was a dive, then BBC dismissed it.
Not funny. Typical.
Despite one of PA’s leaders being from the area, I can’t stand Gnaweech. I see them stamping on Bacary, pushing Alexis into the concrete pit and utter thuggery – the type and template used by almost all the teams in the PL against Arsenal – and denied by most observers.
Fins, ta for the .gif. Love your contributions on UA too.
Edu, all, thanks.

I thought DC was doing the post,
Anyway good en George.
This will be a tough game because of the canaries form at the moment and they will probably turn up thinking they can beat anyone.
Fortunately our youngsters feel the same and with the matchwinners we have in the side this has all the makings of a cracker.
If Macey proves his worth its another goalkeeper we’ve produced on the production line which has dealt up some great players even though being much maligned.
The last time we regularly produced young teams of high quality it pushed the first team onto great things as well.
I know it’s difficult for youngsters to produce good performances week in week out but that’s what they have been doing so far and long may it continue COYG.

It is important being 8 years old
After Sunday spectecle to have such an important game, to keep the players fighting to get into the Premier League eleven match fit, the freshness it avails the team to concentrate on getting us back in position in the League . Particularly for the younger players, as the education they are getting is incomparable to anywhere else. The group used to support the ‘Weekday’ eleven is made mostly 8 year olds . We all know how difficult it is to get a group of 16 or 18 year olds to the first team, these are 8 year olds, just think about that, in a sport where the attrition rate is insanely high they have got this far together.
Yes we have Jack Wilshere, but Jacky is SPECIAL, he is an exception to the norm in any country that plays football particularly England.
Yes this group is the first ‘group’ of 8 year olds (Including Iwobi who is a little older but there is some overlap) to make to the first team and play together , what an achivement for them to even get this far alone but ‘Together’,must be pretty unique, to even get this far together, which bodes well .
If they can convert this golden opportunity Arsenal have, we are talking a Barcelona style promotion in unity, which has been always Mr Wengers dream, I never thought he would get the chance to see any of the fruits of his vision. The stutter and stumble of last season, has afforded him an opportunity to accelerate the learning of a few players he thinks have a chance, in games against men in competitions that matter.
Today Arsenal have 4 ‘Eight’ year olds starting the game, on the bench
Josh Dasilva,
Charlie Gilmour
Marcus Mcguane
Joe Willock
Who knows where the lesser spotted Chuba Akpom may make of his career (But he has to get a move on to make it) at Arsenal.
Win tonight and that will be one step closer to realising a dream.

Oh, and well done Arsenal, at Everton. The Kooman kickers kicked and kicked and kicked. Arsenal beat the handicap.
Which other team topped the transfer trowfy, spending over £100M, then got beaten 5-2, even with gollum (c. fins)?

just had little look at Norwich having lost all track of them as a team.
Unusual stats in that they have played 13, scored 13, conceded 14.
So, not prolific, strong defence; good recent form, inc four away wins on bounce, presumably reliant on that defence.
Aye, unbeaten in 9; 6 clean sheets, no more than one conceded in a game in that spell.
Recognise about half their names from prem times- Jerome, gifted Houlihan, Pinto, Klose- but lots of new faces, including son of Gunn in goal.
Slight groan seeing Hanley there, ex Blackburn and proper dirty bastard (aren’t they all up there tho!)
Oliviera could be involved. Once very highly rated and back in Portugal squad I think. He’s got some class about him.
Should be very stern test of younger lads this one. Result last Thurs was remarkable, I thought, but we may have a pgmol lad out there tonight so extra dimension to challenge.

I saw a tweet from George a few hours ago where he was suggesting that Xhaka was receiving Arteta levels of criticism (for keeping Wilshere) out of the team. The question I have is this: where might a fully fit MA play and who instead of where he available and in his prime?

rantetta of course Deeney is setting up a career as a pundit, when you see Keown and Wright who have been pedalling the line that Ozil had downed tools, only for them to turn it to, after he destroyed Everton, that he was playing to secure a big money contract at another club. you can see that being a pundit is shit easy, as it don’t matter what rubbish you say or how you contradict yourself, you have a job as long as you make everything a negative for Arsenal

WwwB very unlikely Gilmour will be involved in the squad tonight, he played yesterday for the U23’s, all those involved tonight were in first team training.

Your correct about Gilmour but he is close .
The thing is it is not just Wilshere but now Iwobi,Maitland-Niles,Nelson,Willock,Marcus Mcguane and Dasilva as a group of 8 year olds, so rare that if you dig beneath where they stand you could find gold!.

Why Per and Jack are doing coaching badges
Max Jones 24 Oct 2017
Per Mertesacker knows exactly what he wants to do when he hangs his boots up at the end of this season.
The World Cup winner has been developing his coaching skills ahead of taking over as our head of academy for the 2018/19 season – and has been joined in his Uefa B Licence sessions by another one of our stars, Jack Wilshere.
“I asked him if he wanted to join me and develop his coaching skills a little bit, to start from the bottom really to find out more about coaching and change his perspective a little bit,” he told the Arsenal Weekly podcast.
“He was up for it and happy to do a little bit of extra work to get going, not only to plan something after his career, but also to improve and change his perspective. That helps at times, to learn more about the game and himself.
“Even now, it’s quite helpful to see people in different environments and in situations where you go together, where you improve together. I’m quite happy that we’ve been doing it together because I’m not on my own, so we can share some information and share the work. Hopefully we can improve there and get our B Licence to start from there.
“He kicked it off at Bournemouth last year,” Mertesacker added. “I think that’s something he was aware of when he was not at Arsenal. Just asking me his questions showed he was up for it. I asked him if he’s committed because I expect commitment. When I do something, I expect a lot of discipline from myself and he’s committed.
“It’s started well but it’s about consistency. As we do things together, we sacrifice things together, spend time together and it’s also quite interesting to get to know Jack a bit better from a different perspective, not only from a footballing perspective. It feels like we are bonding quite well and I’m happy that he’s joined me.”

No surprise with the team sheet, thanks to mystic George.

Arsenal been on top but not been sharp enough up front to take advantage and have fallen behind to a fine finish.
Iwobi has buzzed about but final ball has let him down.
Been disappointed by Giroud, Walcott Coqeulin and wilshere, who all need to up their game in the second half.
Nelson has had a few good moments as has AMN.

Far too slack from Arsenal, senior players need to lead, and kids look a bit disinterested. On Norwich side they have defended solidly and too their breakaway goal with aplomb.
