ATM .

Hello and how are you? The 5th of May 2026 sees the Mighty Cannon back in action in the Champions League for part two of our match up with Atlético Madrid. KO 8.00pm at ours, Western Euro-time.

What will we see? A replay of the superb first half performance against Fulham or another handbrake conservative, anxiety inducing plod along? If only we had played all season like we did versus Fulham?

Anyway, it’s an exciting game, and it would be great to get to the final, hopefully after the Blue Monsters semi-slip-up, and the Fulham game the lads and the home fans will be up for this one?

Arsenal have only Merino and Timber! AWOL.ATM have Barrios and Gonzalez out and not about, but doubtful apparently, are Alvarez, Gimenez, Sorloth, Simeone, which means they will all be playing later.

The statto dweebs sifted through a pile of figures and handed me a note that said FK U! Then gave me another one with the reckoning: Arsenal FC 58.8% chance of winning, and ATM with a 17.4%.

Next up a trip over to the Iron works with our old chums West Ham, at theirs. SO COYG!

Mills

Well City’s result last night has put a skip in everyone’s step and a win tonight will give us a hop before we jump into our last 3 era defining games.

Pedantic George.

  1. Everything said in those very good previews lads,

Tonights opposition’s stats are quite perverse as we said last week.

They are top in the competition n duels, tackles, and interceptions and have scored the most goals from set pieces. They also have the most goals scored on the counter so we will have to be careful there.

Ironically their record conceding shots and goals from set pieces is really poor.

They have also got a really poor record away from home as we found out earlier in the competition.

I can’t see them not turning up tonight and it should be really tight.

In this competition when we’re on our game we are fantastic and with nearly everyone available their is no reason why we can’t fly tonight.

    Big atmosphere, big performance COYG.

  9. win our next 4 games and we win the EPL and CL double. One game a week means there should be ample rest time too.

  11. Lewis-Skelly in midfield was immense once again tonight, same as v Fulham at the weekend, who knew(rhetorical question)

  12. Gyokeres didn’t score tonight but that was probably his best game for Arsenal, and was easily man of the match.

  13. I kind of expected a bit more from ATM, I thought after HT they would come for us like they did in Madrid. Once Griezman and Alvarez came off it felt like a worng move, even if they hadnt done that much.

Miles had a pretty good game, big Vik too.

  15. if Myles stays in the team for the rest of the season and we win the double he just might make it to the World Cup with England.

By the way I heard a rumor(can’t vouch for its reliability) that Myles wasn’t getting game time due to a family problem(health issue of family member) that meant he was not in right frame of mind to play, and that this problem has had a good outcome recently and that is why he is now back in the team. Might be a whole load of tosh, but if its true then it might explain a lot.

  20. Arsenal with the win tonight to reach the UEFA Champions League final brought their prize money in this seasons competition to €143.5m.

If Arsenal win the final it will bring in an additional €6.5m, so the Gunners would earn a record €150m for this seasons competition by winning the final
