I can’t bring myself to talk about last night. It was horribly poor and unlucky.
Our season has stuttered. It looks like the title challenge is over. In fact after last night fourth is looking like it might be close.
Someone or something must be to blame. I mean people are disappointed, hurt, angry, they need something to vent at. Someone has brought this about and they need to pay for the misery caused.
So who or what is to blame? Let’s look at some of the runners and riders.
Arsene Wenger – Lets start with him shall we? Has he let us down? Picking the wrong teams? Setting the wrong tactics? Not buying players? Buying the wrong players? Not being pragmatic enough? Plenty there to go at for starters.
The Players – Have they no spirit? Are they too small? Too young? To slow? Too alike? Are they just a bunch of losers?
Injuries – Have we been unlucky, again? Do we not understand what we are doing? Bad training? Weak players?
The Board – Have they let us down by wanting to keep a huge bank balance? Have they lied to us? Do they even care about us fans?
Officials – have they got it in for us?
The Media – Are they out to get us?
Depending on your preconceived opinions, you are likely to apportion blame in varying degrees to one or several of these culprits.
Personally my pick would be injuries.
My big new mate Peter over at Le Grove would pick Arsene.
Dim Tim? The board no doubt.
Here though is a question. Why do we have to blame anyone?
Why can’t we just be thankful that for three-quarters of the season we have been right in the mix, had a run in the CL and still have a great shot at the FA cup?
The team should be better next year simply because of the incremental improvement of our youngsters.
We will have more money and revenues to spend than ever before. We will be shopping from the top shelf.
We are on the up.
This team has given us hope all season. That’s a huge step in the right direction.
Really, we have little to complain about.
We should be rejoicing, not moaning.
Obviously being Arsenal fans a few stood up and boo’ed as the final curtain came down, as the ending was not what they had paid all that money for.

That doesn’t compute for the reactionary, attrition thirsty, malcontents, Fins. You see, it’s no longer about going to the football to watch your team and make noise in order to encourage them. Now it’s about fans paying their money and demanding entrtainment which ends in success.

I would not be at all surprised if Roy did not take Jack to Brasil Gains – especially if there is any question mark over his fitness and capacity to play twice a week for a month

Worried now: had not thought to think of The Arsenal in terms of King Lear.
Arsene to move upstairs after dividing his kingdom between Rice, Bould and Gatting. Rice unable to find the words to show the extent of his proper respect, leaving the other two to dismiss his whole reign. The storm replicated by Twitter meltdown?
The worst is not So long as we can say “This is the worst.”

unfortunately it could get worse, with our next two games being against city and an inform everton, the precipice looms. However we have been looking at the end of march all season as the true indicator of our place. The last five games are all very ” winnable” as they say and the toffees last five are more difficult. I was hoping the walking wounded would start running into the side again in some numbers however that now is something we shouldn’t rely on. It may be the youth set up will actually provide the final push to the finish in both cup and league. Player versatility may also play a part and sags may have to play ten positions with the ox in goal of course, suspensions wont prove a problem since the new policy of all players saying their name is Gibbs whenever approached by the ref.

Obvisouly if it aint us ( god i want to cry) then city would be the best option but i wouldnt mind liverpool after what fergie and united have done to them over the years, gerrard is a legend, the only world class player i can accept from england. character. plus fergies comments on henderson werent nice or how he would cheat them with webb all the time, or how they drove benitez out of the country and lets nto forget that cunt evra and how he manipulated his club’s image to get one over a fellow pro who was disgracing him on the pitch… luis all the way. just cause ivan and the rest are fucking mugs and couldnt bring him to us dotn mean we should hate brilliance. rodgers doesnt bother me at all. plus liverpool fans have been far more respectful to wenger and arsenal than the chelse and united cunts who were th efirst chief trolls to mock arsenal fans about trophyless years. fuck chelsea and fuck united.

I’ve been a bit shell shocked for the last few days,
Not out of what the team have done but out of the collective insanity of some of our fans.
It seems, the default mode of media and some fans is abject hate when given half a chance to moot negativity about our club.
The love-in of Liverpool is becoming insufferable.
Well I am glad the truth is out about most of them, because to tell the truth I was heartily sick of the fake goodwill towards Wenger when there was no real excuse to complain. Now we can see what people are really like.
I’m over for the City game on Saturday, I will punch anyone I see moaning.

if a cunt like mourinhole who is always the first to betray his underperforming players get his players to fight for him every week, it pains me to the bone not to see same from our players.
if the players would do half of what wenger does for them everytime they step on the pitch, WOB’s would have long gone out the club.
but we have many good players who are scared to stand when the boss needs them most. just look at everton players how they fight for their manager. but our players prefare to go and fight for their national teams.
why? why?? why???

We need a bit of luck tomorrow preferably the good sort for a change and we need the sort of crowd support we got for the first part of the BM game at our place. As soon as the hum of discontent in the stands starts then the poison seeps into our players minds and limbs and they play with an every increasing load on their shoulders. Lets play our part..

It has the hall marks of the classic Arsenal occasion. Backs against the wall, ravaged by injuries, plenty of fans frightened enough of the opposition not to turn up while others are weaving their banners and strapping on their suicide vests.
I have seen the same a dozen times, two dozen times, so many times.
And through that adversity I have no doubt, no doubt at all that, we shall stamp our authority on the game and teach Citeh a lesson in good football and team play that they will warm their ears as they travel back up the M6. Hopefully we shall have three points, if not we will still have redeemed our good name.
For any who are going and fancy a beer before kick off, GP, AA, Hunter, Fins, DC and others who are regulars or like me semi regulars I will be in the George in Eden Grove from 3.30ish.
As we are all men (and women) of mystery I shall stick up my picture on my Twitter picture list so that you have an idea what I look like, in fact add a pair of glasses but you will get a rough idea @Anicoll5
