KAIRAT FROM KHAZAKHSTAN!

Hello and how are you? Wednesday 28th January sees Arsenal as hosts in our last game of the CL group stage against FC Kairat Almaty. KO is at 8.00pm local time. Expected weather is partly cloudy and temps at 4° (feels like 4°) and 1% chance of rain.

I suppose after the bitter pill of the United game, nobody’s really interested in this one, due to geopolitical snobbery (Borat misleading people into thinking Kazakhstan is eastern Europe, when its central Asia and with a totally different culture)and also in disparity betwixt CL standings/already having qualified for the next round…unless we lose and then we can project that onto the Leeds game, which many are already quaking in the boots over?

Mr Calafiori (muscle) is the only doubt for the Cannon. For  Lucas Africo (ineligible), Jaakko Oksanen (ineligible), Sebastian Zeballos (ineligible) are missing and  Dastan Satpaev is doubtful, which makes me look as if I know their line ups but I don’t.

I checked in on Statto HQ who were pretending to read Being and Nothingness by Jean Paul Satre in the original language, but weren’t. Anyway, they gave me the stats: Arsenal have a 91.7% chance if victory hopefully through harmony, and Kairat a mere 2.3%, which is the highest % we’ve been given all season. Next up, Leeds at theirs. SO COYG!

Mills

This is the most meaningless game I can ever remember. It’s only use will be to give some fringe players game time. Confidence wont be affected no matter what the result. None of the fear and trepidation running through the fanbase will be alleviated. My prediction is that we win at a canter, for what it’s worth.

Pedantic George.

  1. @Eduardo

I enjoy watching and supporting The Arsenal…i celebrate when we win ,accept it when we draw and have grief when we lose…i take all games in context…

  2. Under the circumstances those were good reviews guys.

Kairat are the typical modern compact, low block, break at speed, press high to benefit from turnovers high up the pitch team. It was these qualities that Mikel was talking about in his presser. Fortunately they don’t protect their keeper well and statically face loafs of shots. It is because of this we should continue our record of winning by two or more goals and cement our place in CL history COYG.

    Muhukahuru,

You add nothing to debate or conversation. You just boast about how good a fan you are (even though you produce no facts to support your claim).

Everyone on here supports the club but feels free to discuss there frustrations or observations.

Unforfortunately you just want reaction not discussion and that is the make up of a troll.

So I suggest you either legitimately join in the discussion or crawl under a bridge with the rest of the trolls and sing “I love ARSENAL more than anyone else” to your hearts content.

  8. on that crash its being claimed that one of the injured men clearly and repeatedly says that, during the overtaking manoeuvre, a driver-assistance system activated and prevented the driver from bringing the vehicle back onto its trajectory. The patient stated that “the steering wheel locked and the vehicle veered off”

Gyokeres, Havertz and Martinelli with first half goals that seen us make it 8 wins from 8 in this season’s CL. We top the group stages.

Bailey-Joseph (17) and Ibrahim (18) made their first team debuts.

Havertz had a great game, he went off at half time, and we were not as dangerous in the second half. Gyokeres was dangerous and probably should have scored more than the one goal. We had 2 goals ruled out for offside, and came close a few times.

Leeds away in our next game.
