In their #UncensoredArsenal match review of Liverpool v Arsenal, Shotta and Blackburn George are impressed by the improvements the Gunners demonstrated over prior years in fighting Liverpool to a standstill at their stadium. Despite the 2nd year in a row being top of the league at Christmas they have lagging doubts as to whether Arsenal have the quality to win the title. Given the evident progress of Arsenal these past years they are alarmed that some Gooners have made Zinchenko and Martinelli scapegoats for whatever shortcomings the team may have.

Yep, I hope everyone enjoys the festive period or just the break.
This year could be a big one.

“No Premier League side has scored more goals from fast breaks (6) than West Ham, and netting multiple times in five of eight away from home, they are dangerous opponents”.
Adrian Clarke’s preview excellently highlights the part of the game we need to be most careful of and we will need to protect the full back areas better than we have in recent games.
Fortunately there are a lot of stats that also highlight the hammers weaknesses and our strengths.
Historically this is a great fixture for us as well.
Kai is suspended tonight so I assume Leandro will get the nod for a starting birth.
We have more than enough to win this game but as Mikel says we will have to play well.
There has been criticism of the unity of our forwards so this game is an opportunity to flow and impress the rest of the teams at the top especially city, COYG.

west ham take the lead, once again first shot on target and we concede, balls looks out of play, but VAR really want to give it, and they do

on the night that spurs lose 4-2 at Brighton, Arsenal decide not to turn up and are 2-0 down to west ham, a piss poor performance, and once again under Arteta we have no idea what to do when we go behind, no one willing to take a shot, no willing to make something happen, its paint by numbers football once again, can’t wait for Arteta to tell us we dominated the game with our 70% possession

5 minutes of stoppage time to be played, it could be 5 hours and we wouldn’t score

Arteta going to need another £600M of signings before he will have a title winning side, if ever.

something like 30 shots from Arsenal, with barely any of them worthy of the name, once again the team is clueless when we go behind, its been a constant problem with Artetaball

Hold the presses, Raya finally saved a shot, a late penalty save, pity he was no where for the two goals, West Ham had a total of 3 shots on target, out of six shots, Arsenal had 8 on target out of 30, but barely tested their keeper, powder puff efforts, and we have fans turning their noses up at the idea of Dominic Solanke, as if beggers can be choosers

Worst performance of the season, even the ever reliable Declan was poor.
Never mind shooting, no one wanted to cross first time.
Jesus can not lead the line and our full backs are a liability defensively.
Still not sure Raya is the best keeper at the club.
Odegaard and Saka overplay and the front three don’t link.
We were too slow all night and it looks like for all the improvements Mikel has made we won’t be able to win the league under him. Maybe if we accept that we won’t be disappointed.
Top four and a cup team is really where we are at.

19 games played, the half way point of the season, 3 defeats, and in all 3 defeats we failed to score, our top scorer has 5 goals. Is it the player or the tactics, for me its the risk averse tactics

ian I don’t share your view that we are a cup team, we won the cup six months into Arteta reign but since he got his own players we have flopped in every cup competition both domestic and european, we are already out of the league cup, and face liverpool shortly in the fa cup, what odds of a cup run, and if we play like tonight v porto it will be another short stay in the Cl
Arteta is totally wedded to his tactics, come hell or high water, we stick to them, when behind there is no charge of the light brigade, there is not throw a CB up top, there is no throw on every player with attacking intent, to try and salvage it, no its plod along and if it happens it happens, but above all else don’t get caught out and lose by 4 or 5, that would look bad, that would have the fans turn like they did on Wenger, and Arteta knows this, so its risk averse football, paint by numbers football, yes the risk averse football, the paint by numbers football has improved from the early beginnings under Arteta, as the quality of players brought in has gone up and the like of saka has matured, but its still risk averse and paint by numbers football, dull as shit and when not flowing, just as stinky
