Here is an extract from something somewhere on the internet ,written by someone. The full post can be read in the comments section of the previous post at 4:05 pm. I highly recommend that you go back and read it.
“This is the dilemma which Arsenal fans here find themselves in. They are obsessed with Wenger out, board out, and majority shareholder out mentality such that they do not miss the slightest of opportunities to demonize the manager, club and the majority shareholder. That is why most of the criticisms levelled against the team following the Liverpool game were contradictory. For them the objective is to find something to blame the manager for.
The following are the contradictions in the criticisms:
(1) The team should not have set back in the face of Liverpool marauding attacks. But when they did that Liverpool did not have clear cut goal scoring opportunities, when Olivier decided to retain possession by passing to a heavily marked Gibbs possession was lost resulting in a Liverpool goal.
(2) Team did not have counter tactics to deal with Liverpool offensive play. But despite Liverpool dominance the team maintained shape defensively resulting in Liverpool having few chances, is that not a sufficient counter strategy?
(3) Wenger did not have tactics to deal with Lallana, Coutinho, and Sterling. Why is it that Coutinho had to score because of Giroud’s reckless play rather than Liverpool’s superb build up play with the dominance they had?
(4) Wenger made wrong subs in removing Giroud for Francis. So we should have kept an offence player when we needed to defend our lead? Between Olivier, and Danny and Alexis who puts least shift defensively? The same story goes for the replacement of Alexis with Nacho. The club needed to defend what it had. The offensive players had not offered much going forward anyway.
(5) Wenger should have put Walcott in. Really? What is Walcott’s defensive record apart from his pace going forward? Are you not the same people who have been complaining that Campbell was not getting game time? Why complain when he has been given one?
(6) Flamini should have been subbed. Really? The team is defending for dear life and you want your defensive players subbed.
(7) Szczesny was rash to come out when the ball was lobbed behind the defenders. Are you serious? If he had stayed back Sterling would have controlled the ball with no pressure and scored. As it turned out Sterling had to scoop away the ball from Szczesny with his hand because of pressure.
I can go on and on about the contradictions in the criticisms. This clearly shows that it’s more about the agenda than team performance which brings all these reactions. Unfortunately organizations are not run on the basis of irrational reactions by stakeholders but facts. As long as you continue to shun facts for these self serving agendas you will forever remain hurt by decisions that are made by the club. You can go on social media to denigrate the club, and become resident callers and writers to PL fanzone as one Mcbernard (or something like that) from South Africa has been ranting on today’s program, claiming that if he sits on the Arsenal bench the team will do wonders, but that will not change anything. At the end of the day you will become a perennial moaner not only in matters football but in other aspects of your life. Here in Zimbabwe we say an empty vessel makes the most noise so once I start seeing and hearing all those hate filled rants I make my conclusion.
Digest that.”
PS. That reminds me, spare a thought for ZimPaul and is family over the Xmas period. I will be a sad time for them. I miss him and he barely touched my life.
Empty vessels make the most noise, ain’t that the truth.

I’m now at the point where I just ignore or yawn the constant sniping at this team & the manager, funny thing is they go missing when we win-work that one out! I miss ZimPaul too, truly lost one of our own this year, what a class act he was.

We’ve seen scenarios were when we try to defend a lead, we concede, when we try to counter attack a lead, we concede. This team is torn apart defensively. Yes we are missing players, but defending as a unit require less talent then attackers.
Frustration is born out of simple mistakes over again. Similar game vs city. Concede a stupid goal first. Then work really hard to pull it in our favour. Then concede from a free header at a set piece in last few mins. The concentration isnt there for the full game.
Its hard to put a finger where its gone wrong. A combination of not getting adequate cover in defence, a mixture of injuries all over the place, and relying on youth who do struggle in these games.
This season just has not get started, and its big contrast from last season where we were 2nd by now. We better hope that the injury gods give us a break and we can actually use our best players consistently, other wise it may be a real struggle for top 4 this season.
Not so great when our resources have doubled, and so has the squad expenditure. A cb in Jan is a must, and if anyone knows that its Wenger, im sure he is already in conversations.
There’s not a lot of positives right now bar the ‘possibilty’ of ramsey, ozil,Walcott, arteta and koscielny in the team by mid Jan. Even then, it will take a while to hit top gear.

I agree with Mel. I think most of us passed that point when we saw the groaning after the last 5pur2s game, hard to forget such class behaviour!
When I first saw the this post from Tinashe Shamuyashe, I thought of Paul, Zimpaul. Tinashe can write so well he or she needs to get down to Paul’s Book Club.

For myself the part of their post I enjoyed the most were the bits about the actual Football. And we could even have an interesting discussion about the game of football following on from that! So we did. At least I enjoyed hearing Andrew’s and others thoughts. Talking about the Football on the pitch. Not a still that doesn’t show several defensive players collectively failing to control a set play (which is usually what happens when a tam concedes from a coroner, I guess…). Something we have noticed with observation and evidence that the Groaners have dissociated themselves from, the football.
e.g. no.1: how many Groaning AAAA have you ever heard mention over the long years that they have been transparently and obviously campaigning for “regime change” the only three names ever worth mentioning during any of that time? Ancelotti, Pellegrini (even before his City or even Malaga days) or of course the only true genuine contender for the best manager in the world title, the only one who has had as close an impact upon his peers and whole regions/associations, the Bieslian beast currently skulking down in Marseille? It’s fooking crazy, just look at the current fashionable candidate for regime change: Poor old Klopp appears to be set for the chop. I hope not, Dortmund appear to have too much class for that, hopefully just more desperate copy for the hack dwarves as they sharpen their dull blades. But seriously, by deliberately ignoring the rebuild that has gone at AFC since losing the two players that the last team cycle was built around, by staying at the top and winning a trophy when we can all compare that acheivement over the last three years with the easy to make contrast at Dortmund who have less constraints, or with Pool or the Tinies, it is an exceptionally revealing contrast. Dissapointing in a way those hating on AFC were using the Dortmund contrast at that time (not now! So revealing…). I wasn’t a hundred per cent that I was correct to read what was happening to AFC, the start of a new team cycle marked by the signing of Chambo, but Zim Paul backed me up when asking Groaners who were apparently experts why they were disingenuously ignoring the obvious in order to attack their own club. Once he spoke I knew that I was upon thinking about the Game along the right lines. To be fair to myself, it was bleedin’ obvious what was goingon, has been going, is going on at AFC. It’s not hard to see. And during this recent period the Groaning AAA have ignored the names mentioned above and been pining in public over the following:
Coyle
Moyes
Martinez
Klopp
They’re all good managers but you’d have hoped by now these people would look at that list and start to think again? It’s embarrssing is it not? That they are not is fair Reason and Logic to question their motive. Strong evidence of a blind and driven agenda? Unless, as perhaps common sense would dictate, they are simply immensely arrogant and stupid?

If you really want to see a team struggling from mismanagement, look at what that vocal public ally of the AAAA the sociopath Piers Morgan’s mate has achieved with the England Cricket team:
Piers’ bessie mate who Piers has been using to promote himself (the same way the gullible people at AFTV let this evil man living in exile in order to protect himself from prosecution use them) has himself been party to the disintegration of the England Cricket team dressing room and a team infrastructure that took over a decade to build. Bit of a disaster really when you think about it. I understand it’s not all KP’s fault but he’s always been a prized plum, Textgate, and by letting himself get used by such a self-publicist he doesn’t deserve any sympathy. A shame because KP was probably hard done by the ECB, but once you get into bed with such a toad it’s hard to have any compassion.

Oh I think Piers will have other fish to fry Fins in the next few months – almost certainly with m’learned friends.
After several years of denying that they engaged in phone hacking at the end of October Mirror Group, of which young Piers was editor of the Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004, admitted in Court that 13 stories that appeared in the paper during that period had been obtained through illegal or unlawful acts ( i.e. phone hacking) As a result in fact Mirror Group, now Trinity Mirror, has set aside £10 million to cover compensation and legal costs for the civil claims that have followed.
Now poor Piers has resolutely denied that phone hacking ever took place at the Mirror, a claim that his former employers have now admitted is false, clearly false, and if it did take place he knew nothing about it.
Well Andy Coulson tried that defence Piers and with respect mate, you need a new strategy.

Thanks Andrew, I haven’t followed the story. That is interesting news.

To clarify my comment above I feel KP was overlooked and probably ignored by the ECB as senior player who deserved some respect, from all that we’ve heard of the shenanigans.
But, as everyone in the world can now see, if there’s one way to shoot yourself into the Arsenal it’s by getting Piers on your side. That’s not an opinion: If anything people have lost respect for KP since he got the boot, when under the circumstances you’d have expected the opposite to have happened. I’d seen Broad bully some colleagues on the field of play, he genuinely genuinly seems to be an even bigger idiot then KP – He’s friends with M.Dawson who’s a fraud of a footballer for starters. No wonder there were dressing room problems. So, what kind of PR genius advised the shrinking violet that is KP to make allegations of bullying the centrepiece of his defence? As opposed to highlighting, I don’t know, the consecutive mis-management of Trescothick and Trott etc.? I’ve thought long and hard about that previous line, and really the ECB should be “ashamed of themselves”. But let’s ignore those unfortunate stories and go back to that genius Expert in PR and Sport, Piers Morgan.
Piers Morgan, the nominated high profile public ally of the AAAA as evidenced by the respect and time that they have given this odious man upon their podcasts etc. their efforts to defend his name when queried. Damned by their own words, not mine.
They should be ashamed of themselves.

I see the Daily Fail are at their usual hatchet job on Arsenal, with their Cesc has more assists this season for Chelsea than Wilshere has had for Arsenal in his career, typical lies from them as usual. I do wonder why any Arsenal fan would buy such a rag that does not even try to hide its anti Arsenal agenda, any one who buys it is a moron, but an Arsenal fan who buys it is a special kind of moron.

Arsenal’s height of ambition is 4th place, Wenger admitted as much today in his press conference
AW: “2015 can be very exciting if we get injured players back and have a good run. Top four is always the minimum required.”
what you mean minimum required is not the same as maximum target, typical AKB’s taking the side of your lord and master, us real fans want our Arsenal back, I want Claude the fraud as our next manager, its the only way to stop him cancelling Christmas, and I want my Christmas back.

Happy Holidays positivas. I am around, lurking but posting less due to competing interests. Frankly we are going through so much turmoil and transcendental change in our world as to make the nonsense and sniping about AFC so trivial in comparison. The groaning and moaning is doing nothing but suck the joy out of supporting the best managed and one of the most attractive football clubs in the world. 2015 promises to be even more life challenging to those of us struggling to survive the rapid changes around us. Hopefully we may come to the realization that football is just a sport for our enjoyment, not an obsession for for what George describes as the “malcontents”.

Shotta,
The days are getting longer, the Sun has been reborn, let’s hope the cosmos has a little more sympathy for AFCs injury list for the next cycle round the Sun. Who am I kidding? George and AAndrew created this place to ignore the sado-masochism we witnessed in all it’s glory after the last 5pur2s game. Beyond the normal! We’ve reached the point where talented cartoonists can lampoon these Goners with ease and minimal effort. No need for any further commen!

A Happy Xmas, to one and all.
2 years ago AA wrote an article on another site, that deplored the current state of debate about The Arsenal. AA’s article(s) is still relevant.
The current issue of the EPL Handbook (2014/2015), has under Transfer Policy H4 and I quote:
“.Each Club shall formally adopt, and make available to the League at its request, a written transfer policy identifying who on its behalf has authority to negotiate and approve Material Transactions.”.
Needless to say it is NOT Mr Wenger, who is bound by H9:
“Managers, Players and Officials shall cooperate fully with the Directors of their Club in the preparation for Form 7.”.
The Internet, Facebook and Twitter, have revealed how many lunatics are roaming aimlessly, in this wide, open world. A little knowledge is a dangerous tool, for those writing an almost daily blog?

Szczesny 6 – solid performance, could do nothing about the penalty goal
Debuchy 6 – solid, never a penalty in a month of Sunday’s, Hoilett caused him problems
Mertesacker 7 – a lot better than of late
Monreal 7 – looks good at CB
Gibbs 7 – solid, and an assist for Alexis goal
Flamini 6 – ok, nothing more
Cazorla 6.5 – in and out game
Alexis 8 – goal and an assist, worked very hard, but he does over do it a bit when others in support, selfish at times.
Rosicky 7 – worked hard, scored the vital goal
Welbeck 5.5 – worked hard, sadly fails to impose himself on games, needs to up it
Giroud 4 – very stupid to get himself sent off, but not a headbutt for anyone who knows what a headbutt is, the defender took a dive, having said that, with Atkinson in charge Arsenal players should know he is only looking for a chance to send off, so they need to be smarter, and Giroud was stupid, not smart
subs
Chambers 4 – found it hard to get into the game
Coquelin n/a – not on long, got stuck in and somehow Atkinson seen fit to book him
must say that Atkinson is an awful ref and there are serious problems with the standard of reffing in the English game.

Well that was a lot harder than it needed to be, but thank goodness we got what mattered most – 3 priceless points.
I could not see that OG did anything to warrant the red card. It looked like pure cheating by the QPR player, so I was really glad they didn’t profit by it. Us Going down to 10 men seemed to wake them and their fans up, but I must say I was impressed by the resolute defending by everyone of the men in red.
I thought Alexis played really well after his initial mare with the penalty. Once again he was guilty of trying to do it all when I bet he was not the designated penalty taker.
I’m loathe to criticise an AFC player as I really try to support them all, but I can’t warm to Welbeck at all. I just don’t rate him and I think he’ll struggle to get a game when Theo is back.
