How are you?
In this podcast we dissect the hugely disappointing performance and result in Manchester and look at what attacking Arteta at this point will achieve. I conclude that nothing good will come from a campaign against him, we are “all in” and have to let it play out.

I’m not bashing Arteta it’s just that he doesn’t know how to manage.
Saliba and Pepe should both be getting minutes for the Arsenal especially as other young players need breaks, that they are not raises serious concerns not about Arteta,
but the people signing off on signings like Pepe & Partey.
I won’t jump on any Arteta out bandwagon because the people who will be making the call to replace him have shown to the whole world repetitively how inept and incompetent and disingenuous they are over the last few years: this is not an opinion!
The owners are straight out of the pages of The Damned Utd and have more in common with the Derby County owner who fobbed off Clough then any of the Billy Big Blaggers are able to admit sycophantic clowns that they are. So they attack the players as we can all see this week and not the culpable owners for dragging the club down to mid table. Clowns.

I enjoyed some elements of the performances from some of the players against Utd but Arteta’s Emery instinct to retreat to his six yard line at the earliest opportunity, and then stay there, it does make for shite football. Always has, always will!
Some people are happy to pay money to watch crap football, most others will just go and watch better football elsewhere. this may controversial for some but it is the reason why big teams who play attractive football have big stadiums please don’t shoot the messenger.
As Ehab says maybe Arteta will work how how to implement his ideas in the future.
But if Arteta left tomorrow there would be few tears in Arsenaldom and that by itself is telling.

Ironically Everton are owned by a group who once had big designs on The Arsenal. Small mercies?
Benitez was always on thin ice at Everton as a former Liverpool legend and the Watford and home derby result against Liverpool has Everton like Utd in poor form.
If the Gunners get a decent result it will be a big boost ahead of the Xmas crunch, they could go above West Ham!

Thanks George for your kind words and your outstanding support. Despite not having a “skin” in this YouTube you are ever present and I/we rely on your opinions. You are one of the most insightful observers of all things Arsenal and proven right repeatedly.
Hopefully all “Positivistas” will accept George’s plea to Like and Subscribe to the channel and most importantly make your comments and suggestions so we can improve our broadcast.
In my opinion YouTube has become the most important online media for influencing fans of the club. AFTV, which spent 7 years promoting the most extremist and most destructive WOB opinions and personalities, have leveraged their influence on the fanbase to become one of the biggest online channels on YouTube with 1.4 million subscribers when I last checked. In contrast we started less than six months ago and are way behind with not even 100 subscribers to date.
Am not discouraged in the least. Now more than ever we need to build an alternative to the extremism, hype, hypocrisy and opportunism that is now dividing the fanbase. The dominant voices don’t care about facts. Instead it is who can most hype or demean when it is most opportune (Did I just define opportunism again?). No wonder george, who doesn’t like the manager as a person has to say “bashing Arteta won’t help anyone” or Aubameyang for that matter.

My own opinion is there is zero indication that the people running the club have any idea what they are doing & the prospect of them choosing a new coach is possibly more scary then Arteta evolving from a novice to a rookie.

Fins: Yes indeed. Our owner and Josh in particular are novices. Am afraid they will do just like the Glazers and put us through further hell at this rate. When I see the usual suspects (Piers Morgan, AFTV, etc) hysterically demanding the manager’s head its time to say hell, no. They are not interested in the club getting better but in furthering their own popularity.

once again Arteta has suggested that Arsenal do not have a scoring chance creation problem, just a scoring chance conversion problem. I’m really not sure what he is looking at during games. I’ve said it before, but I’m afraid what we see attacking wise from AFC is what Arteta’s tactics are. The only improvement can be if we somehow do manage to find a way to score at a very high conversion rate.

There are only two u21 teams left in the entire EFL Trophy, Arsenal and Chelsea. They’ve just drawn each other in the next round.

The problem is most games I don’t enjoy ARSENAL any more and I certainly don’t enjoy all the bullshit noise around the club at the moment.
The Wobs created a civil war that I can’t see going away. How can the club move forward as a whole when there are so many people pulling in different directions. I include the heirachy in that as well.
It no a matter of Mikel bashing it’s knowing there is so much wrong at the club and no being able to see a clear way back on the right road.
I know baby Josh doesn’t want to sack Edu or Mikel and will back them for a long time so we will just bump along with the nearly men for a while.
I can’t see Mikel being better than Unai at the moment and I suspect the next coach will be the same.
Remember How the spuds went into a circle of hiring and firing coaches every couple of seasons without improvement well we are in that place.
Our academy players are being wasted and many we want to keep seem to be leaving the club at an earlier stage because of what they see ahead.
While there are platforms to discuss ARSENAL it is difficult to not point out the obvious.
I Love ARSENAL but I just don’t like it at the moment.

The wobs created a civil war because there was never any AKBs just people appreciating the best football they were ever going to see under the best coach they would get to see.
The AKB construct was a gaslighting technique designed and engineered to get clicks on the internet because these people are no different to Adrian Durham in fact they worse. If in doubt look to the lowest common denominator their actions and content can be seen as rational (and not psychotic) when we appreciate they are only interested in the money.
For example: these excreting clowns have spent the last three years calling for Xhaka to be dropped and sold when Everyone including the coaches at the club who re-signed him to a new contract can see with their own eyes that he is the best midfielder currently at the club.
These Billy Big Blaggers: they do not know much about the Football. But they do know how to can websites. Evidentially.

Bernd Leno
Right groin. Bernd has a tight groin sustained in training and is being assessed ahead of Monday’s match.
Emile Smith Rowe
Right groin. Emile has a tight groin from Thursday’s match against Manchester United and is being assessed ahead of Monday’s match.
Sead Kolasinac
Left ankle. Sead sustained a significant injury to his left ankle playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina during the November international period. Sead is now running outside and is aiming to be back in full training in January.
Granit Xhaka
Right knee. Granit has made excellent progress in his recovery from a medial knee ligament injury sustained on September 26. Granit is now back in full training and his availability is being assessed ahead of Monday’s match.
All other players in the men’s first-team squad are currently fit and available for selection.
As part of Premier League protocol, all members of our first team squad and support staff continue to be regularly tested for COVID-19.

It is remarkable how many of these pgmob reps they don’t deserve to be called refs are from Yorkshire or thereabouts when most of the registered referees and players in this sport* in the UK are based in the South or South East. I hope no one is offended if I remark upon it!

well fins its obvious that London refs or even southern based refs, are like the london teams, and their fans, soft, not real men, and they would only go and give needless freekicks for fouls, and silly yellow or red cards for leg breaking challenges, and that would not fit with the narrative the pgmol and the epl want maintained in the epl. Heaven forbid, and god save us from refs actually implementing the rules of the game, as it would mean refs actually being refs, and not as it is now, refs being game managers.

Think he was the one who let a Palace player away with kicking Xhaka recently, in the area, right in front of him.
Dean or no Dean, Not got the best feeling about this game, but hope,I’m wrong. They will know they can get away with quite a lot, whereas any stray tackle from our players will result in a card or a pen. Good to see Xhaka back though

Dr Arsenal strike again. They let a poor , but highly cynical team off the hook, think that has happened before I seem to remember. Aided and abetted by Mike Dean
Some horrendous performances through the team, some misses that defy explanation.
But must be a little difficult playing in a game where a ref let’s face stamps against you go unpunished.
Baffling substitutions, and in some cases,lack of substitutions, they were clearly chasing a rusty Xhaka once he was booked,

Conceded 2 goals and got away with an other 2 with marginal if not correct offside decisions.
Another non-performance with zero entertainment and zero creativity.
I admit to having only seen the last 10 minutes of the first half and almost all of the second and have no doubt that the better team won.

Sorry, Bradybunches but you have it all wrong. Partey is a world-class player whose name is the first on the team sheet. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful player.
I particularly admire the way he protects the back 4 so that we only let in 2 goals.
All those misplaced passes are, in fact, deliberate ones to put off the opposition so that they won’t realise that he is a world-class player whose name is the first on the team sheet so that they will believe that he isn’t that and will allow him to protect the back four with alacrity.

I am of course hoping that we will see the world class Partey at some point.
I have to add that I had watched both the ‘Invincibles’ film and ‘An audience with Arsene Wenger and David Dein’ prior to this game so disappointment was kind off inevitable.
A home win would be good to regain some confidence before the dreaded intense Christmas period.

He has been with us for and we have yet to see even a modicum of his alleged world–classness.
More wishful thinking that has plagued so many fans during the ‘process’.

Godfrey shd have had a yellow for the first foul on Saka, red for the Tomi experiencing the J P R Williams ( what was going on there VAR?) and another yellow for his foul on Saka. Lacca does little on Pickford and Pickford gets protected. Abh if you do that to Tomi in the street?
Frist half we didnt even seem to want to attack, the two creative moments came through Tierney and Tomi.
Not sure why Tierney was subbed? To give Everton a chance? Holgate foul,Dean of the Wirral who loveth the Spudneys sayeth no. EH? Gordon foul. Nothing, Martin gets booked for time wasting. What joke, But its not funny! Godfrey penalty claim not really examined.
Bad miss from Eddie–contract?
Our attack seems to be on holiday by mistake and our midfield seems think and unable to control the game.
Im sure I’ll be killed for this, but I actually thought we looked a bit better in the second half than the first.At we had a potential in the first half we seemed locked down and pushed back and played back and sideways?
Shame Xhaka had to pull out of the challenge due to being on a yellow and right near the end, he knew Dean was right on it and would have had him off, and Xhaka made the choice not to potentially sacrifice himself.
I feel pretty sorry for Auba, when youre stuck in a negative trend its tough to get out of it as all misses confirm youre bad thinking.
Luton flip flops fans now bashing Arteta. Two weeks ago he was the bets thing since, and now the process isnt processing. What a fkn rotter!

I find the constant blaming on the refs quite annoying now.
We have had this problem with the refs for many years and yet have managed to win FA cups and qualify for Europe despite it until Arteta came along.
Good players, playing well can get around the ref problem, by playing well
I would have thought that playing well is a combination of the player’s abilities and the coaching.
Let us admit simply that our players are not playing well and have not been doing so since Wenger was shoved out of the door.
The coaching, playing system and the players themselves are at fault, together with the person who is in control of all of these elements, the manager.
The refs and their antics are simply an irritant, but they do not coach our players, dictate the system they play or give them confidence, which is the manager’s job and at which he is failing miserably.
I dar stay that at this very moment fans of other clubs are blaming their team’s situation on the refs, so I am sure we are not unique.
Let’s get realistic, please.

A bad performance again and Mikel caught out again. While it’s taking him over a season to drop Auba playing Laca away from home as an out and out striker was crazy especially when you have two very good front facing forwards in Eddie and Gabriel.
Eddie offered more in twenty minutes than Auba has all season and people are going on about missing one chance, for fucks sake do they not watch actual football.
Partey arrived with a loud fanfare but those of us that judged him on his performances rather than his rep have always said he was bang average but last night was possibly his worst in an ARSENAL shirt. Are Elneney or Maitland-Niles
Last night highlights our relyance on the magic three but with Saka not fully fit and being fouled every two minutes and ESR injured we looked very tame up front. Again had Eddie started I think we would of looked more balanced.
It is difficult to know what we are going to watch every time our players get on the pitch and unfortunately with a manager not being able pick up problem areas on the pitch then you wonder how many times this will be repeated.
The one positive was the return of Xhaka who was his usual excellent self but playing him for the full ninety might again come back to bite us in the arse.

said it here a few weeks ago, that Arteta’s whole attitude to chance creation and goal scoring changes, we are going no where. Once again last night he came out after the game and blamed the defeat on us not taking our couple of good chances.
A clean sheet only guarantees you a point, our aim has to be far more attack minded, goals wins you games. And its not like our safety first defensive style of play is working, we’ve let in 22 goals in 15 games, and that with just a game a week to worry about. We have only scored 18 goals, and are currently on course for less than the measly 55 goals we scored last season. By the way with 22 goals already conceded the fixed defense is on course to let in way more than the 39 let in last season, despite adding a goalie, a right back, a right cb and a left back. When you look at how he has fixed the defense how few goals will we score when he fixes the attack
