We’ve come far since the start of the year, and it feels great.
It’s 2 A.M. and I really want to write.
Across my screen, news articles keep flashing every minute.

I really want to share my joy with all the Arsenal supporters that read this site, it feels amazing for me, just to think how different it was to last year to how it is now.
And its not just one player, all of them, all of them, I love all of them.
Rosicky is composing heavy metal r & b rap based pop rock grunge classical and all sorts.
Being spoiled with both Flamini and Arteta, both proving doubters wrong, both pleasing Wenger’s tactically.
Giroud’s hold up play and how he always manages to find Ramsey is nothing short of beautiful.
Ozil can have quiet games and still find magic moments, as can Santi and Theo and Lukas (when they get back from injury) and the list goes on.
Our back four, our back six, our back even if you include Vermaelen, Jenkinson and Monreal all provide great back up and close games out for us excellently. We’re tactically fouling when we need to and our defence is just as beautiful to watch as our attack.
With Szczesny, like we were with De Gea last season, we are watching one of Europe’s best young goalkeepers steadily become one of the top 10 GK’s in Europe, his distribution and movement has improved massively.
Now I am writing on a high, and they don’t always last as you know.
But lets enjoy this high, lets enjoy what our club has done so far, in life you can’t always be worried about what’s going to come back to bite you in the ass.
Because you might be forever be worrying.

It was the fans turning against the club that was utterly shocking and sad. Wenger didnt give a fuck about all the media idiots, but it was the funs turning on him that shook the man.
Personally, I was happy to fight back against all the vile moaners in the Arsenal blogsphere, but it was was the betrayal at ACLF that was so hard to digest. How sad is it that I am glad when fans from other clubs call our fans fickle?!
It is a wider problem though. Society is so fickle these days.

Hunter, yea, I like to think it’s partly a mind trick thing. Who knows, a little hesitation in a crucial moment might be game defining.
Anyway, I’ll hold up my hand and admit it, I’m a petty man. I want us to win just partly so we can stick it to the little boy who sleeps in a big cunt. I’m absolutely delighted he had to find out he was just part of his newly adopted fathers retirement plan. And now he’s stuck with zombie face and the wig.

There is a gif on the internet that shows that Sagna took the ball. If the referee was fair, then the penalty was probably given for the tackle from behind.

Anicoll I think Oliver is a good referee and one day he will be called up for important European and international games. But the penalty against Hull was a bad call. And that’s what I’m most afraid about with the game tomorrow, they have some very skilled divers. Forget about young and evra, rooney is a master at it as he gets away with it.

I think at the heart of it all there is a conflict between British football values and Arsene’s football values. I’ve just started reading Bergkamp’s book and there’s an interesting chapter all about why he did not succeed at Inter which I feel has interesting parallels to Arsene’s experiences in England.
The rising influence of Dutch football and Cruyffian principles was at odds with Italy’s Catennacio culture, which they were very resistant to change. That to change it would be almost a betrayal to their identity, that catennacio should be preserved. It was the Italian way, to be defensive and pragmatic. Arrigo Sacchi had brought Dutch principles to AC Milan and had great success with it; Inter’s president wanted to copy that and bought Bergkamp as a lynchpin of this new strategy but the manager and the ‘old guard’ hadn’t got the message, and Dennis spent two years stuck in a system completely unsuited to his game.
I think Arsene finds himself in a similar situation, his philosophy is viewed with great suspicion in England. His way of doing things was (partly) accepted when it was winning things, but when the trophies stopped the blame was laid squarely at his philosophy rather than the obvious financial circumstances. All the cliched criticisms levelled at Arsenal over the years make the divide in football values clear – our defence is perceived as weak; our attack over complicates, trying to ‘walk it into the net’. The message is clear; ‘stop doing it your way and start doing it our way’. Be pragmatic, be British. You won’t win doing it like that. Arsene’s ‘failure’ is seen as a success for British football values, his successes now treated as an anomaly; a foreign challenge which the good old British way overcame.

Love Sagna, hope he will be rewarded a new contract and gain his rightful legend status. Most loyal player in last 5-10 years. But that goal was a gift from him, penalty or not.

Recent articles in the press by the same old tired and jingoistic hacks comparing Arsenal’s current backline to the one inherited from GG that ignored the 04 team were also referred to by the gaffer. It’s the prefect example of what you describe. It is undeniable.

The key words for me in that part of the press conference were the words “logical and normal” (regarding Arsenal’s circumstances). We expect stupidity in the world. I’m not the smartest somtimes, it is true. But there are no excuses left to defend the cowardness of those who chose to deliberatley spin it the other way.

What graves me most with this media drive, vilifying Wenger, is the fans that bought into this and worked into their hands. Especially after experiencing a period of great togetherness when we first embarked on the great journey that emirates epitomized. We all agreed we had to grind out a few bad years before ripping the rewards, the logical and normal part. Yet one after one jumped off the ship along the journey and started to work against the manager and club. So fucking weak. The stupidity of it all is that in this case bad years meant continuous top four spot and champions league football.

one of the problems with English society is the relative lack of free thinkers, people seem to be led by any suggestion by a front page, a plastic politician or some oik on the radio. we vote not on policies but on smartness, height or prettiness.
Given this, a Frenchman( who has German overtones) totally changing all aspects of our game affecting all other teams and managers is not something the masses want to accept or admit to.
History may include Arsene’s true worth into its annals however I suppose it depends on the scribe.
For now we must keep trying to grow our cult and make our almost secret society ready for when our day comes

Chelsea diving to claw back a draw against West Brum?
Jose speaks of his admiration for the cliches of English football (rugged, no diving, the usual gibberish) when he chooses to butter up the hacks, I guess that must be a good example.

Chelsea challengers? I don’t think so. They were really, really poor against West Brom and got a point thanks to an altruistic ref. Sessegnon and Mulumbu are incredibly solid players.

West Brom were robbed of two points and Chelsea gifted a point. Are you guys watching the post match analysis? The “pundits” are saying that “nobody is accusing Ramires of diving”. Two other dickheads concur: “of course not”. “it was just accidental” Accidental diving?

Ramires is becoming one of my least favorite players. He is good when not flopping around, but he dives just as much as Ashley Young. And Hazard is just plain shit. He goes to ground so, so easily.

Gains, I see that I am not the only one who dislikes Ramires. Yeah, Drogba was a presence for them. I liked Drogba for Ivory Coast, but really disliked him at Chelsea. He was really good, but dived so much that you would think he had only one leg. That tarnishes the view you have of his impact at Chelsea. He has probably been their most influential player in the past 10 years. Of all the Chelsea players, it seems that Petr Cech is the only decent guy. Maybe Mata too. The rest seem to be assholes with skill.

What a dirty, dirty dive to win Chelsea a point. Disgusting. But nevertheless, Chelsea have dropped two points and if we win tomorrow, the gap to them widens to 7 points.

Mata can go F himself. He could have had it all with us, but he chose to go to a team notorious for treating players like the help. I hope he rots on the bench over there.

Evil, not even last season, when we were most in danger of dropping out of the top four, did our players resort to diving or other dirty tricks. Maybe if we had had cheaters on the team, the trophy drought wouldn’t have lasted so long.
